Secretary of Commerce appoints A.J. Wichita for the third time

Mr. Dan Swart, from the Department of Commerce presented to A.J. Wichita a certificate of appointment as a member of the North Texas District Export Council.

"Mr. Wichita's appointment comes at a time when the Commerce Department is placing increased emphasis on a nationwide network of experienced exporters to help increase U.S. exports, thereby advancing the Presidents national export objectives," said Mr. Evans.

For the past 20 years Mr. Wichita' s company has marketed environmentally friendly petroleum additives and tire sealants to more than 25 countries around the world, including India, China, Eastern Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia."

Mr. Wichita is expected to provide a key link between the public and the private sector trade development groups," said Mr. Evans "as well as an understanding of foreign markets that will aide U.S. businesses eager to expand into foreign markets." Because of these efforts and past successes, Mr. Wichita was presented an “Export Achievement Certificate” by Secretary Evans at a ceremony in Dallas.
